 <description>HB 2226 - AN ACT concerning criminal procedure; relating to grand juries; amend-
ing K.S.A. 22-3001 and repealing the existing section. is a bill sponsored by Rep Lance Kinzer (R-Olathe).  This bill would make it easier for County District Attorneys to convene a grand jury to hear the most heinous of cases.  The bill passed the Kansas House of Representatives on Feb.15, 2010 and was sent to the Senate for consideration. During this stage, the bill is engrossed and reprinted for Final Reading.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;

Overland Park, KS - This month the Overland Park Police Department has responded to 28 reports of stolen vehicles reports.
&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
Sixteen involve vehicles taken while they were &quot;warming up.&quot;  These crimes are happening in residential areas, as well as in business locations such as gas/convenience stores.
&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
